How to Actually Walk Between Them
Yes — One Ayala and SM Makati are directly connected. This is the part people keep searching for. The two buildings share a walkway. It's the same connection MRT-3 commuters already use. The elevated walkway out of Ayala Station lands right between SM Makati and One Ayala. Step off the train and you're in either building without touching street level.
One Ayala and Glorietta are connected too, though that link is newer. A bridge opened in June 2025. It links Glorietta 5's Level 3 straight across to One Ayala's Level 2 alfresco area. You may have stood in Glorietta wondering how people get to One Ayala without going back outside. That bridge is the answer. It works the other direction too.
Glorietta itself connects further west into The Landmark. It also connects east into both SM Makati and One Ayala through Glorietta 5. Those three effectively sit on one indoor loop. Greenbelt runs its own separate loop. A second-floor corridor out of Greenbelt 4 leads to Ayala Museum. From there, it continues as the De la Rosa Elevated Walkway. That walkway links to The Landmark and the rest of the Greenbelt buildings. Drove in? A lot of people land here after typing exactly that, so let's answer it directly instead of dancing around it. Glorietta has been the default answer for a family mall day in this part of Makati for years. It's the mall most parents already know, and it has an indoor kids' playground that's part of the usual family-day rotation. If that's the trip you're planning, Glorietta itself is still the right building. Nothing here changes that.
Where it gets more interesting is the searches sitting right next to it: "activities in glorietta," "glorietta kids activities," and other "we want to actually do something" variations. That's a different crowd. Think kids who've aged out of a playground, or a barkada that wants to actually do something instead of another round of window shopping. The connected complex doesn't have much built for that inside Glorietta itself.
